How do we find our way back?

“Though the earth should change.” How these words seem so relevant for today.

In 2 Corinthians Paul says to, “greet one another with a holy kiss.” A kiss? Now people are timid to even make eye contact and a hug seems like a violation.

COVID-19 has definitely disrupted the way we interact with those around us. We stand 6 feet apart in public and see people as a potential threat to our health.

Who would have believed that a virus could carry so much power as to change the way we interact with one another.

So, how do we find our way back to the way things were?

What if it’s not about going back but about moving forward into something even better? What if what the enemy meant for evil, becomes the very thing the Lord uses for good? We’ve seen it in the lives of those in scripture and in our own lives. So, let’s let go of the past and look to the present with optimism and anticipation of something far greater than we can imagine. This is the way of God.

Be reminded today that He is our refuge and our strength. Let’s take off fear and put on His peace. Let’s replace discouragement with hope and believe that with God, all things are possible.
