I wrote the following post three years ago today. I found it interesting how these words could be relevant for today three years later.
As I read these scriptures I felt my spirit come alive. I pray they will minister to you today. Remember, the Word is alive and active!
Post from March 18, 2017 It has been a week of feeling the enemy pressing in on all sides. In moments like these how grateful I am for The Word; for the battle that has already been won on my behalf; for a God who continues to fight for me in my weakness ["My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."]; for worship music that ministers to my moment; for friends who stand on the front line with me; and for His relentless love and pursuit of me becoming all He created me to be.
Deuteronomy 20:4 “for the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.”
Deuteronomy 28:7 “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.”
I Chronicles 29:11 “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.”
Matthew 19:26 “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Romans 8:37 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
I Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
I John 5:4 “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”
