God loves the world so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus, to save it. God did not send His Son to judge the world but to provide an opportunity for the world to be saved through Him. Jesus gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil. These promises of His love for us are found in The Word.
I feel compelled to make something clear; God did not cause or send COVID-19. It is not a move of God to awaken the Church, to bring revival, to slow us down, or to move sinners to repentance. Everything the Lord does is done in love, and there is no love in this pandemic. We know that all disease and sickness come from the enemy who seeks to kill, steal, and destroy because Jesus came to bring life and life abundantly.
We must be careful to make sure our words do not include attributing any aspect of this horrific situation to God.
However, there is good news in the midst of this. Jesus' death and resurrection have given us the ability to overcome all the power of the enemy. Life and death are in the power of our words. We need to break agreement with passivity and lift our voice to declare that this virus will die in Jesus' Name.
God is a redeeming God, and we will see Him redeem everything this evil situation has caused. He exchanges beauty for our ashes. And He will always have the last word. Our victory is found in Him and Him alone. We do not need to walk in fear but stand firm in the truth of His unfailing love.
If you do not know Jesus, there is always an open invitation into a relationship with Him. His love for you has covered every sin and every wrong that has happened to you. He is a healer and restorer, and He will do for you what He has done for me and all those who have said yes to Him. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and He will bring peace to every area of anxiety and unrest if you open your heart fully to Him. Receive His love and His peace today and see your life transformed.
