Covid-19, politics, racism and world affairs have definitely been vying for our attention. The danger is being distracted by what the enemy is doing instead of staying focused on what God is doing.
In the midst of a pandemic and world chaos God still reigns over the nations and He is still seated on His Holy throne.  His ways are still higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
Everything that rubs us in this life is to reveal areas within ourselves that need to be raised to Christlike maturity. In the words of Francis Frangipane, “The Lord comes to liberate us for this hour and upgrade our lives to kingdom standards.”
We must not be tossed back and forth by the waves of this world. We are called into the fullness of God.
I believe our focus in this hour is to be on being wholly filled with God Himself. To seek His presence and the full measure of His glory.
I have said it before and I will continue to say it, God cares more about transforming you than He does about transforming cities, because He knows that transformed lives, transform cities which transform nations.
Shift your focus off of the headlines and onto what God is doing in you. Stop focusing on what is wrong with the world and focus on what Holy Spirit is redeeming in you. Become the transformed bride He is calling you to be. Then we will see His glory revealed in greater measure upon the earth.
“let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet; encourage one another and build each other up” 1 Thessalonians 5:8,11
